Querying

 Home

  1. Make sure the layer you want to search is active.

  2. Click the Query Builder button.

  3. A form will appear at the bottom of the current window.

  4. Click a field to query.

  5. Click an operator to be used in the expression (=,<,etc.).

  6. Type a value for the expression.

    Note: This search is case-sensitive. If you are not sure how to fill in the Value box, use the Get Samples button.

  7. When you are finished, click Add to Query String.

  8. Use the And, Or, Not, and Parentheses buttons to add more conditions to your search.

  9. Click the Execute button. The list of results will appear in the Query Builder window.

  10. Click on the Rec number of the feature you are interested in and the map will zoom to it and highlight it.
