America Online (AOL) Instructions

By default, America Online (AOL) uses its own web browser. Since the PlanNet maps may not work with this browser, you need to install another browser independently of AOL, if one is not already installed on your computer. To do this, please follow these instructions.
  1. Download and install either Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, if one is not already on your computer. Downloading one of these may take a substantial amount of time, depending on your individual connection speed. We recommend using Microsoft Internet Explorer.
  2. Disconnect from AOL and then reconnect to AOL.
  3. Start the web browser that you just installed and ensure that it is working properly (surf to some web pages).
  4. Come back to the PlanNet page and click View Interactive Maps.
